I became a teacher to support my writing dream. To my surprise I felt as impassioned in front of an audience as I did in the creative isolation of writing books. The energy of the classroom, and later of public forums with audiences that have exceeded a thousand members, encouraged me to expand my mission to empower and inspire and entertain others as both an author and a speaker.
